Hey folks,Got to say I love having the trail maps on my gps and thanks to all who have contributed!!I keep wondering though, is there a way I can view the trails (especially now that the canoe routes are being added) on Mapsource with either topos or any other maps? As it is, it is a stand alone, so if one is looking at, say street routes to get to a trailhead, it really doesn’t work so well on Mapsource. I tried opening the GPX file in mapsource, but I guess because it is so large it just wouldn’t do it. Hoping there’s an easy solution that I’m missing! Thanks!

If you do find a way to do it, post it here please. I’d like to be able to do the same.

As far as I can tell, mapsource only allows you to display one map product at a time. That means that the trails project data would have to be added to one of Garmin’s maps instead of being a seperate product.

Mapsource can only show one map at a time – that’s one reason I provide the KML link for Google Earth. It may be time for me to re-investigate methods to get the data to show up.

GPX won’t work as it’s waaaaaay beyond MapSource’s capabilities.
